About Moreno

After having Rhodesian Ridgebacks for 9 years  I am completely in love with the breed.

Ridgebacks dominate my life and they will keep on doing that.

But, having my own dogschool and meet all kinds of dogsports because of that, I started to became a little restless.

Agility, Obedience, DogFrisbee, DoggyDance, Flyball...

All kinds of dogsports but not for a Ridgeback... maybe for some Ridgebacks, but not for my Ridgebacks... ;-)

I tried everything but after catching the ball or frisbee 2 times it was finished,

agility, nice for 10 minutes and than the enthusiasm was gone...

So I started the search for a working dog.

After a long search we found the Australian Kelpie, an excellent working dog,

but only working on demand and calm and easy when they do not have to work.

After visiting a couple of breeders and getting to know the breed better we were convinced.

This will be our next dog, finally a working dog!

And so it happened...

At the Dinky-Di-Dutch kennel in Holland, on the 23rd of April our little Moreno was born.
